How to Zoom the Calendar Timeline on the Laser Digital Calendar

This guide explains how to adjust the calendar timeline view on the Laser 15.6 Inch Digital Calendar with Touch Screen, model AO-156TDC-544.

Zooming the timeline changes how much of the day is visible on the screen. You can zoom in for a more detailed view of event times or zoom out to see more of the day at once.

How to zoom the calendar timeline

1. Open Calendar on the digital calendar.
2. Select a calendar view that displays the daily timeline.
3. Place two fingers on the timeline.
4. Spread your fingers apart to zoom in and increase the spacing between times.
5. Pinch your fingers together to zoom out and display more of the day.
6. Swipe vertically to move through the timeline.

When to zoom in

Zoom in when you want to:

• See event times in greater detail.
• Separate events that are scheduled close together.
• Review a particular part of the day more clearly.

When to zoom out

Zoom out when you want to:

• See more of the day on one screen.
• Review the household’s overall schedule.
• Reduce the amount of vertical scrolling required.

If the timeline does not zoom

• Make sure the selected calendar view displays a timeline.
• Place both fingers within the timeline area.
• Try the gesture again slowly.
• Make sure the screen is clean and dry.
• Confirm that the touchscreen responds normally to other controls.
• Exit Calendar, reopen it and try again.
• Restart the digital calendar if the screen remains unresponsive.

If an event appears to be missing

• Swipe vertically through the timeline to check other times of the day.
• Zoom out to display a larger portion of the day.
• Confirm that you are viewing the correct date.
• Check whether an active calendar filter is hiding the event.
