Answer:

1. Unplug the power cord from both the power socket and the diffuser base.
2. Remove the cover and pour out any remaining water.
3. Clean the diffuser body using a damp cloth with diluted dish detergent.
4. Refill the diffuser with plain water and run it for 30 minutes to remove excess oils.
5. Wipe any spilled essential oils from the outside of the water tank.
6. Put the cover back on the diffuser.
