The Baseus U2 Pro Dual 3K AI Tracking Solar Security Camera supports local storage on a microSD card up to 512GB. The card is sold separately. Baseus states that local storage does not require a monthly subscription. Optional cloud storage requires a paid subscription.
Insert the card into the camera slot as shown in the setup guide. Baseus states that recorded videos are encrypted and cannot be accessed using third-party tools, so do not expect to play the card directly in a third-party video player.
This local-storage statement does not confirm that every AI or cloud service is free. Check the service terms shown in your Baseus Security app before subscribing.
