To hardware reset the MID-785/MID-1085:
- Turn the unit off.
- Press and hold the POWER button and the VOLUME UP button simultaneously until the Laser logo appears.
- A black screen with several options in blue and bronze colors will appear.
- Use the VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons to navigate the menu and select 'Wipe data/factory reset' using the POWER button.
- Select 'Reboot system now' to reset the tablet to factory settings.
