BLU-BD4000: Changing Blu-ray Region Codes

Easily switch the region code on your BLU-BD4000 Blu-ray player to enjoy content from around the globe. 

Follow these steps for devices purchased after August 2019.

Steps to Change Blu-ray Region Code:

1. Ensure there is no disc inside the player.
2. Power on your BLU-BD4000 and reach the main 'Laser' screen.
3. Press the 'SETUP' button on your remote control.
4. Once in the setup menu, enter '8520' using your remote to access the factory settings page where you can change the Blu-ray region code.
5. From here you will need to select the correct region code so type in the corresponding number from the below options:

6.                     1 = Region A

                       2 = Region B

                       4 = Region C

7. You will need to change this setting everytime you are swapping between different region discs.

For BLU-BD4000 units purchased before August 2019, follow these steps to change the Blu-ray region code and enjoy discs from different regions.

Steps to Change Blu-ray Region Code for Older Models:

1. Ensure the player is empty, with no disc inside.
2. On the home screen, access the 'SETTING' option.
3. In the 'General Setting' menu, scroll to the 'Security' setting and select it.
4. Find 'BD Region Code' within the menu and select it.
5. Choose the region that matches your disc (Region A, B, or C) and confirm.
6. Your player should now play discs from the chosen region.

Note: If you experience playback issues after setting the region code, consider adjusting the country code in the settings to match the disc's region—for example, selecting the United States for Region A discs.
